With your BitcoinConfidential wallet closed place .bat file in the folder also containing your bitcoinc-qt.exe file and run the .bat file. (This will start bitcoinc-qt.exe with the desired -flag)


1. Rescan Tx's .bat

-rescan

Rescan the block chain for missing wallet transactions on startup 


in Windows

cd C:\Program Files\BitcoinC\
bitcoinc-qt.exe -rescan



in Mac 

1. Open Terminal program

2. Run this in Terminal

/Applications/BitcoinC-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/BitcoinC-Qt -rescan



2. Salvage Wallet .bat

Attempt to recover private keys from a corrupt wallet.dat 

In Windows run this 


cd C:\Program Files\BitcoinC\
bitcoinc-qt.exe -salvagewallet


in Mac

1. Open Terminal program

2. Run this in Terminal

/Applications/BitcoinC-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/BitcoinC-Qt -salvagewallet




3. Zap Wallet Tx's .bat


in Windows


cd C:\Program Files\BitcoinC\
bitcoinc-qt.exe -zapwallettxes


-zapwallettxes=<mode>

Delete all wallet transactions and only recover those parts of the blockchain through -rescan on startup (1 = keep tx meta data e.g. account owner and payment request information, 2 = drop tx meta data) 



Start wallet 


in Mac


/Applications/BitcoinC-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/BitcoinC-Qt -zapwallettxes=1 & 


/Applications/BitcoinC-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/BitcoinC-Qt -zapwallettxes=2 & 



4. Reindex Chainstate .bat

-reindex

Rebuild chain state and block index from the blk*.dat files on disk 


In Windows

cd C:\Program Files\BitcoinC\
bitcoinc-qt.exe -reindex


In Mac

/Applications/BitcoinC-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/BitcoinC-Qt -reindex &
